What happens when a generation's ultimate anti-authoritarians -- punk rockers-- become society's ultimate authorities -- dad's? With a large chorus of Punk Rock's leading men - Blink-182's Mark Hoppus, Red Hot Chili Peppers' Flea, Rise Against's Tim McIlrath- The Other F Word follows, Jim Lindberg, 20-year veteran of skate punk band, Pennywise, on his hysterical and moving journey from belting his band's anthem, 'Fuck Authority', to embracing his ultimately pivotal authoritarian role in mid-life, fatherhood.

Not much of a fan of any of those bands (although I used to love the Chili Peppers, of course). Still, this sounds pretty cool. Anyone see it? Thoughts?
I think that it's on Netflix and I'll probably stream it when I get the chance.

Seemed like a great idea, but I wasn't very interested for very long. Turned it off less than half way through.

I might have watched it more if it was chopped up into 20 minute segments and run on VH1 when I was hungover.

Watched it when it first hit netflix. It was ok. I think the premise is kinda weak to carry an entire feature-length doc--that of the outward appearance of these guys makes people think they won't be good fathers.

What I did find interesting, and something of major implications is that a lot of these guys had fathers that split out of their lives early on. So, they didn't have male role models. Hence why many found themselves attracted to the familial aspects of punk.

Based on that theory I'd like to see stats of how many Juggalos don't have a relationship with their father.
