Only one I know of off hand will be the Speedy Ortiz full length. Which I will love. Because little makes sense in my life now besides them.

But hopefully I'll do a better job in 2013 of utilizing Spotify to keep on top of new releases, rather than making it my one-stop-Sonic-Youth-stop.

What's the delay on Free Energy? Seems like they put out that single way back in the spring or early summer.

Alan Sparhawk getting his releases on in 2013--

Retribution Gospel Choir "3" January 22.
Quote:
One song per side, this radio-format-challenged record will come out January 22, 2013 on Chaperone Records. Side A “Can’t Walk Out” is the crown jewel of recent RGC live shows with it’s repetitive, building, almost free, freakout – so far, probably the most accurate recording of what the band brings to the stage. Side B “Seven” sees the more sprawling side of the band – haunting, epic, and enhanced throughout by guest guitarist Nels Cline. These songs were tracked live, playing together in the same room, one take each.

Hold Steady should have something in spring; played a bunch of new songs when they came through Baltimore a few months ago.
