I hear Dave Grohl plays on a track, is he drumming on the entire disc?

I think Grohl did do the whole record, but won't be touring with them though....

I'm not as excited about this as I probably should be, but this track is tasty.

Both of those songs sound like dated shitty filler tracks that are two minutes too long.

Thank you to Jerka$$, this is some putrid shit. Long and round bar chords until someone cuts the chord mid-strum and goes up an octave. This is art

About 2 spins through this and am wondering, did Josh Homme stop taking drugs?

Where is the "Feel Good Hit of the Summer" or "You Think I Ain't Worth A Dollar......."? Something with some reckless abandon?

I'm not in the Jerkass/wilked camp but I am certainly not seeing the high praise that is all over the internets.

Some good sounds here and there but pretty inconsistent and while lyrics have never been their strong suit, there are some particularly bad moments.

I haven't listened to their past few records, but this is seriously the most boring thing I've heard this year.

When you look at top ten lists of 2013 thus far you can see the money spent on promotion and hype definitely have an effect on people's perception of mediocrity. Denial will put this album on a lot of year-end top 10 lists.

Hey, it's not as good as Songs for the Deaf, but it is a huge upgrade from Era Vulgaris and Lullabies to Paralyze.

I'd have to agree. Those prior albums set the bar pretty low.

Matt Sweeney hosting Josh Homme and shooting the shit about playing guitar and techniques.

Guitar dork chum but I enjoyed it:
