Heard a track off this ("Mr. Saturday Night") during the latest episode of Vesco Island, and was intrigued enough to Spotify the whole album. Man, am I ever glad I did - this is 2013's #1 with a bullet for me so far. An amazing amalgam of The Jim Jones Revue, Ted Leo/Pharmacists, The Greenhornes, and even a dash of Squeeze thrown in for good measure. WOW!

D'OH! I did a search on "triangles" and "squares" thinking "computers" would probably pull up too many unrelated results. My bad.

Glad to see I'm in good company when it comes to this album, though. Nicely done, Rads!

I've been enjoying it the last few weeks thanks to a tip from Dr. Radcliffe. Good record.

Their earlier stuff had a total Hives vibe.

Also, the thing I find most amazing about these guys is how their singer seems to have developed a great R&B voice almost overnight.

From just a couple years ago:

His voice is really what makes the whole thing click.

I'll keep you posted when the singer puts out his folk/country solo album.

HAHAHA - I was thinking pretty much the same thing. Beeg loves him some Americana.
