The Computers - "Love Triangles, Hate Squares"

Heard a track off this ("Mr. Saturday Night") during the latest episode of Vesco Island, and was intrigued enough to Spotify the whole album. Man, am I ever glad I did - this is 2013's #1 with a bullet for me so far. An amazing amalgam of The Jim Jones Revue, Ted Leo/Pharmacists, The Greenhornes, and even a dash of Squeeze thrown in for good measure. WOW!

D'OH! I did a search on "triangles" and "squares" thinking "computers" would probably pull up too many unrelated results. My bad.

I gave it a cursory listen last night and gonna check it out again today, but yeah, it sounded good.

Also, the thing I find most amazing about these guys is how their singer seems to have developed a great R&B voice almost overnight.

His voice is really what makes the whole thing click.
