Man, I spent 3 of the best years of my life down there!
I went back when the Blue Note was still a little hole-in-the-wall on the outskirts, before they moved into their fancy new digs on 9th St. I saw Meat Puppets, Pixies, Uncle Tupelo, Urge Overkill, and many others there back in the late 80's and early 90's.
I envy you the Sub Shop, as well.
