All I can find are deconstructed and country-fried previously-recorded Primus songs.
Is this all this is?

Moderate interest in Sun Kil Moon, Band of Horses, Neil Finn, GBV, Beck, and Neneh Cherry (her last one was w/ The Thing was pretty cool)

Hey, the Notwist is still making records.

I am really digging what I've heard from the new Beck and St. Vincent albums. Yea, digging.

Birth in Reverse is in heavy rotation

I'm waiting for that Wild Beasts.

Beck is ok.

I like the James Vincent McMorrow.

This, Mogwai, and Damian Jurado have been my favorites so far in 14.

I've bought three albums this year. Stephen Malkmus (which is ace as usual), the Punk 45 compilation (which is a nice time capsule but don't expect to find an undiscovered band of genius) and I'm picking up the Orange Juice remasters (3rd album The Orange Juice was first).

I'm impatient for the Black Lips album but it doesn't come out until March.

Listening to it now, and it's pretty good. Pretty much the same as their last two albums. No complaints.

I like the St. Vincent album, I guess.

The Sun Kil Moon album is good, but maybe not as amazing as people are saying. I like it about the same as the album with Desertshore from last year.

Angel Oslen - Burn Your Fire for No Witness is my favorite 2014 release so far.

Enjoying The War on Drugs so far. A bit laid back though. Have not heard Real Estate all the way through, but already liking it more than Days. Hospitality and the Blank Realm have been clicking mostly with exception of a few tracks.

Yet to hear the album but promising melodic hardcore from down under. That Olsen is fookin' horrendous.

Angel Olson... not bad actually. Reminds me of the Breeders but it's probably the "distorted acoustic guitar" angle.

Yeah just as often she goes the solo acoustic route. So not very Breeders-y, really.

First listen of the Angel Olson, and I'm really enjoying it. Thanks for the push, Drink.

It will require some more spins, but Neneh Cherry's got some strong growth potential for me.
