Released maybe a half dozen albums in the last decade and do limited tours every now and then. They did a benefit show here last month.

I only know this because when they do play, FemDerris and her girlfriends ALWAYS go and get hopped up on the female folk rock. The Lilith Fair effect.

Both of them are still based here and are pretty active politically for various causes. They also own several restaurants here as well.

Amy Ray just put out a country album.

Every time I think of Smash Mouth I just remember ending up in a bar where they were after playing a show and my girlfriend was looking for some dope and kept harassing the lead singer by whining at him..."c'mon rock star, you're a rock star, you got some dope somewhere... stop being a pussy, fucking get it out asshole...." and so on and so forth. They finally left the bar.
