I've finally had my Dave Edmonds freakout. Seen him around, never really knew who he was, then "knew" but didn't dig in. Finally started going through his catalog on Spotify and was entertained for most of 8 hours. This was a long time overdue, I guess.

So, how many times was "The Weight" performed on national media last month?

- Wits (APM - public radio): Jason Isbell & Amanda Shires w/ Jon Munson (Semisonic) and Marc Maron(!) (@51:10)

- Late Night: Fallon's swan song with the MUPPETS!

Here's a brand new podcast my friend is doing called Prior Volumes. This first episode is about the Black Panthers R&B group from the early 70s. Someone here might like it.

Penny Blacks is kinda my catch-all for songs I write that don't fit with my other loud, kinda fucked up band. So in amongst all that, I am playing a guitar and singing :)

So it turns out that FemDerris enjoys watching the Today show in the mornings while getting ready.

Did I marry the wrong woman?

Today Show... -shudder- I haven't caught it in a long time but I think last time I passed by it (airport? hotel lobby?) I thought "who the fuck watches this?" And now I know.

Nothing surprising, but a nice re-cap of the modern "list"

“I Will Refuse”: 13 bands that could reunite, but won’t

I went through a phase a few years ago where I watched it. I think maybe it was when my kid was a baby. Also, the early local news that comes on before it. I dunno, its just one of those things.

FWIW, Dump Jack watches Good Morning America
