NPR First listen of Sylvan Esso: http://www.npr.org/2014/05/04/307765618 ... ylvan-esso

Really digging this.

Quote:
The product of an unlikely pairing of musicians, Sylvan Esso works in equally unlikely ways: Singer Amelia Meath first surfaced as a singer in the largely a cappella Vermont folk group Mountain Man, while Nick Sanborn plays bass in the versatile North Carolina psych-rock band Megafaun.

I like these so far...

Both of these start out engaging...might give the Gaytheist record another try. Lyrics are good but the music gets monotonous on the second half.

Also checked out the new Animal Lover EP today which left me completely underwhelmed on first listen.
