Seems like a thing we might all be interested in.
Someplace to post links to bands that we find on what might be the most-interesting site on the net for musical diggers like us.

Post the link to the album/band, and a RIYL, minimum.
An album cover image might be nice, too.
Like this:

FREE album DL.

RIYL: Radiohead, Eno, Joy Division

And maybe we could pin this one as a handy reference for folks who are looking for new stuff to check out?

There's a Bandcamp embed function on this board:

You just need the track ID # which you can find through the share/embed link.

This album was one of my favorites of last year. It's a pay-what-you-want thing.

Faux Fur
https://fauxfurband.bandcamp.com/album/faux-fur

Catchy, mathy indie rock

Drinky,
I love that tune that you embedded.
Going to DL right now.

"Mathy" turned me off at first, but once I gave it a listen, it was all over.
My big shovel is out and I am digging it!

I realize I use the word "mathy" a lot, and maybe it doesn't mean what I think it means.

Like I guess more often than not "math-rock" refers to more abrasive stuff like Shellac, but this is nothing like that.

Band from Charlotte. This one song is very Beach Fossils-ish. Want to hear more from these guys, and hope to catch a show of theirs soon.

Oh cool, glad to hear you are digging. No full-length that I know of. They just signed to a record label, so perhaps one is in the works.

Just came across this new project of Steve Ward (Cherry Twister) and Joe Pisapia: Fauna Flora. There are four songs which you can stream but this one sounds best to me:

Not sure that I really like it enough to buy it myself but I figured some people here might be interested in it.

Well, I dig that Cherry Twister album, and you know how I feel about Joe Pisapia.
I think you know that I am definitely one of those people that will be curious about this one!
Thanks for the heads-up!

That's a gorgeous song. Initially I figured I'd hear maybe a quarter of it and move on but it sucked me in.
