Or Top 3 or Top 10 or Top 46 or whatever

What have you got? Here's mine:

Cloud Nothings – Here and Nowhere Else
Angel Olsen – Burn Your Fire for No Witness
Chad VanGaalen – Shrink Dust
Real Estate – Atlas
Indian – From All Purity

close: Blank Realm - Grassed Inn

Not really loving anything yet. Looking forward to hearing the new Swans, but no high hopes based on the last two (both good not great). Really anticipating the Viet Cong album, but that probably won't be out until the fall.

• Future Islands - Singles
• Phil Ajjarapu - Sing Along Until You Feel Better
• Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings - Give the People What They Want
• The Thons - Thirty Foot Snake
• Roxy Swain - Restless Hearts

Still need to hear a couple more times before deciding where it goes:
Beck - Morning Phase

And arriving sometime in a a week or so, but expected to land somewhere on this list:
Gruff Rhys - American Interior

top 3 are interchangeable dependent on the day. today i'll rank em:

1. The War on Drugs - Lost in the Dream
2. Wye Oak - Shriek
3. Damien Jurado - Brothers and Sisters of the Eternal Son
4. Real Estate - Atlas

i'm having a hard time picking out a clear #5 as a bunch of the rest seems to bleed into "pretty good" territory at this point.

not enough listens to rank yet, but really digging the William Tyler EP and Ryley Walker's album.

oh, i'm also borderline obsessed with the tune "Habit" by Ought, but still not sure how i feel about the album as a whole

I've only bought three 2014 albums and a bunch of compilations.

I like all of them to some extent.

Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks - Wig Out At Jagbags. Old favourite. Will devour anything he does.
Black Lips - Underneath The Rainbow. Favourite still going band. Not their best LP but still glad it exists
Withered Hand - New Gods. Scottish band of the moment. OK, a couple of better than average highlights.

Will probably pick up a few more records soon as I'm salaried again after 'resting' for a while.

Haven't nearly listened to enough new music this year. Just Beck and Damien Jurado. I'll hopefully dig into more after I'm done with my current round of mixes.

Not a whole lot of consensus here.
Interesting.

I keep forgetting this exists. I need to listen to it. I liked New Moon a lot.

I also should listen to the new Liars even though I didn't like the single.

Couple of other things I've liked:
Each Other - Being Elastic
Posse - Soft Opening

Plus the Mac DeMarco, Woods, and Sun Kil Moon albums are all pretty good.

This has been a really slow start to the year for me. One through three are records that I get to work on, and they are amazing, so you have to hear them.

1. Gord Downie, The Sadies, And The Conquering Sun - Gord Downie, The Sadies, And The Conquering Sun
2. Timber Timbre - Hot Dreams
3. Fucked Up - Glass Boys
4. The War On Drugs - Lost In The Dream
5. Bill Callahan - Have Fun With God

if anyone wants a digital copy of mine, let me know.

Interested in how it stacks up. Thanks for the props, Todd.

Dig it.

It's damn good, Phil.

And if you have the FLAC files that have the artwork attached to it, I would love it.
Otherwise, I'll just make mp3s.

Todd, now that it's on the iTunes store, the artwork is linked to gracenote (used to be cddb) so if you're listening in itunes, you should just be able to click get artwork and it should find it.
