Would there be interest to do another artist/band's discography overview like we did with the Dead, Bowie, etc.? I always thought those were really great even if I didn't participate all the way through.

If so, could we all even agree on one?

We never all agreed before. I think somebody just picked one and ran with it. Who do you have in mind?

I don't think I've ever even glanced at the Grateful Dead thread.

I'd be interested in this depending on the artist.

A couple that come to mind that I've never really dipped a toe in but have pretty large catalogs are The Fall and Frank Zappa.

Those are both good choices, but they would get pretty exhausting toward the end. Also probably not many people would be on board with The Fall. I love them, but even I'm not sure if I want to wade through all of their post-2000 releases.

I would definitely be interested (like everyone else, dependent on the artist). I will toss out there for consideration; Michael Gira (to include Swans, solo and Angels of Light...would be around fifteen or so albums I think, Current 93 (I expect very little interest in this and even I will acknowledge this would likely be a painful one to get all the way through with as much shit in the catalog as there is stellar work), or Nick Cave (to include The Birthday Party, Grinderman, solo and Bad Seeds).

I suggest Squeeze or Roxy Music.

I've been kinda going through Nick Cave's stuff on my own, very slowly, over the past few years, but I'd definitely be up for that.

M. Gira would be cool, but I doubt many people would be up for that. I can barely make it through one Current 93 album. ;)

Roxy Music would be cool. That and Meat Puppets are both pretty easily manageable, I think.

Roxy Music makes me think that Brian Eno might be cool, but tricky if you want to try to include all the various collaborations. Also boring in some stretches, for sure.

some other ideas:

Parliament/Funkadelic
XTC
Sonic Youth
Mark Kozelek (Red House Painters, Sun Kil Moon, and collabs)
Jason Molina (Songs: Ohia, Magnolia Electric Co., and collabs)
Townes Van Zandt
Minor Threat -> Embrace -> Rights of Spring -> Fugazi -> The Evens
King Crimson
Captain Beefheart
The Kinks

Come to think of it, I believe we did a lot of these when Dumpjack was around, and some of these may have already been covered. I can't really remember what all was done, and I know some of the last few had very few or no other participants.

Nearly all the above suggestions sound great. Another: Fela Kuti.

I plan on doing Bruce Springsteen due to the fact that my friend is buying the new remastered discography.

James Brown would be nearly impossible to compile, but it's an eventual goal of mine.
Johnny Cash is similarly daunting, but I think nearly every album has been officially reissued.

I'd be down for XTC or Weird Al or pretty much anything.

Whoops...kinda forgot I put this out there.

I've got a lot of Swans, XTC, Zappa, and Kinks so I'd be down for any of those.

Nick Cave would be interesting as well.

Most of the Swans stuff is available via spotify, as well as XTC's I believe.

As an experiment to see if you could tell the albums apart?

Let's do this for Nick Cave.

I've never actually heard Door, Door so let's start there.

I'm game--so anyone got the hookup. Been unsuccessful thus far, and spotify is no go.
