My son plays Xbox Live games with a bunch of other kids. I just discovered one of these other kids is a 9/11 Truther.

Driving home to the suburbs from the city this afternoon, I saw Jeff Tweedy out riding his bike with his teenage son.

Slow down, thread.

1. The FUCK is a scarecrow festiva---never mind don't tell me. That shit is creepy and wrong.
2. There are9/11 Truthers who aren't 55 year old out-of-work plumbers? Holy fuck.
3. Tweedy and son biking would, like, make my year.

My friend lives in a small NorCal town. His neighbor manages Dropkick Murphys.

I haven't read that but I would like to. Just in the past 2 months I've read autobiographies from Rob Lowe, Martin Short, and the Princess Bride memoir from Cary Elwes. They are such light, enjoyable reads. Maybe I'm getting old. Oh yeah and I read The Martian, which was pretty cool.

But I came in here to talk about the new R'n'R HoF nominees. Music nerds as usual are saying this and that about it. One of my friends was talking about how the Monkees are not in the HoF. I had no idea they weren't already in.
