I'm gonna make a top 30, just for the years 2000-2015, ranked.

This is a 16-year span, so even if I just took the #1 and #2 each year, something is gonna have to be cut. Plus what if my #3 from any given year is better than a #1 or #2 from any other year?

I'd be curious to see all your 21st century lists.

Decided on no repeat artists, although there would've probably been at least 3 if I hadn't set that restriction. I probably have to re-evaluate most of my 2000-2005 favorites, and even the last 10 years get hazier the further back I go. I've kept my old lists, but I don't necessarily trust them anymore.

This is tempting, though, and I'll probably do it when I have time.

I was cruising along at the start, and then I was like "Ohhh yeah, what about White Blood Cells?" (which was my #1 from 2001), But then I was like, hmm, yeah it actually belongs right there. Pretty satisfied with my list overall, for now.

Funnily enough, I think if this were a top 50 list, there would be a lot more overlap with other lists here. Sufjan, Exploding Hearts, Shins, Iron & Wine, and a bunch others are out there on the fringes.
