I still like the music, but kinda fuck these guys. This whole fiasco doesn't pass the smell test.

A band that irregularly toured broke up "via Rolling Stone" just before a solo record came out. And by "band" I mean a duo with a backing band decided to tell a journalist the band was over instead of his co-songwriter.

The breakup was allegedly rehab related but I just don't really buy it. The timing was odd. The fact that band who, in all previous reports, was close. It's fishy. Yes, that's a pun.
