I've read the top lists from Stereogum, Paste, MOJO, Rolling Stone, and Noisey. Spotified some shit and it turns out I didn't really miss much this year by focusing on my collection instead of new releases.

I think the only album that is getting a lot of love that I checked out and enjoyed was the Sufjan Stevens album.

I like how Mojo put Julia Holter at #1. Probably the best #1 choice of any of those publications.

Really excited to see these same albums shuffled around on a bunch more lists, with Kendrick at the #1 or #2 spot of every single one of them! It's almost as bad as 2010 where pretty much everyone was required to put the Kanye album at #1.

I read about this Phil Collins LP via the Vinyl Factory site and couldn't resist!
It arrived today and what a lovely thing it is - one red one green too.

Yeah, I need to order a copy of that one before it sells out. That Linkwood they mention is great too, should have grabbed a deluxe copy when I first saw it, but they went fast.
