40. Cover Girls, "Because of You"

Solid 6th grade dance jam to kick off the countdown.

39. Exposé, "Seasons Change"

This song went from the top of the pop charts to dentist office FM station playlists like John Smoltz from the starting rotation to the closing role.

37. Salt 'N Pepa, "Push It"

All-time jam. Can't believe no one got fired for playing this at those middle school dances in the late 80s.

36. Natalie Cole, "Pink Cadillac"

Solid 80s cover that sounds like a movie montage.

35. Icehouse, "Electric Blue"

This song is one of those weird songs I clearly remember, but remember nothing about. Probably because "Icehouse" is a horrible name for a band.

34. Bruce Springsteen, "One Step Up"

This ain't "Growin' Up", but I'd rather listen to this than his podcast with Barry.

31. Alexander O'Neal and Cherrelle, "Never Knew Love Like This"

Written by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis! I'm a sucker for any R&B song with whispering.

28. Tiffany, "I Saw Him Standing There"

This song is somehow worse than I remembered. It sounds like a Wesley Willis beat. It would be improved with a siren out of nowhere.

23. Aerosmith, "Angel"

I've hated Aerosmith for as long as I can remember, but for some perplexing reason this song isn't an insta-skip.

I remember this one from back in the day, and I still love it now. I have it on my 80s electronic music mix. While researching, I learned that it was a one-time, one-off, super-group collab between AK Kane and Colourbox.

They only released this one single. And it was a hit. They batted a thousand!
