Early this evening I described his new album 'In Pursuit Of Your Happiness' as "nice but nothing earth shattering".
Well perhaps it's still not earth shattering but I've played it four times in a row and it's sounded better every time. I especially like track 7 where J Mascis guests playing these great little jazz rock guitar breaks that wouldn't be out of place on a Steely Dan record circa '75. Kinda Larry Carlton for the new millenium!
Anyway, this is my first Mark Mulcahy experience and I was just wondering if there are any fans on the board, if any one else has an opinion on this record (or any of his others) and all that sort of thing....
