Boo!

I went through a big Boo Radleys stage last night. With everything that is going on it makes a lot of sense to me. So I did something I never do and listened to two albums by one band including Wake Up! Giant Steps is their classic and your post is some sort of weird sign.

np: Okkervil River – Down the River of Golden Dreams (too lazy to find the picture right now)

Carina Round - The Disconnection

This one really snuck up on me outta nowhere and now I completely adore it. It's the second album from this English girl and she knows how to rock, kind of like early PJ Harvey circa Dry, especially on the single "Into My Blood". But also with traces of a cabaret style and jazz at times. Maybe a touch of Fiona Apple in the middle section of the CD. "Sit Tight" is a 6 1/2 minute stunner that comes close to the end. Beautiful song with lots of emotion and drama, building to a big, noisy ending. But mostly just solid, passionate rock. I've been listening to this alot. I guess she even got some MTV play, from what I hear. Interscope big bucks, although she doesn't seem to be getting much promotion, which is refreshing in a way. One of those nice price CDs too at under $10 locally (under 7 online).

US front cover below...UK front cover is the back cover in US. Nice review at AMG.

How considerate of Paddy McAloon to record an album specifically for me. Sometimes I think this is the best album ever, I'm just so sensitive 80's child.

Neil Young :: Everyone Knows This Is Nowhere

Yeah, yeah, I skipped Neil Young, but it's got a few bland spots I just don't care to sit through at the moment. I wanted to hear me some "Cinnamon Girl".

No reason for or against, really. I did it once before last week, but I just find it easier than editing. I'm stupid that way I guess.

Well my only point is, like...I have no worries about extra posts...but you know the order of what you're doing, so you COULD do it all in one.

Plus, you overtook me in total posts, you bitch.
