On my drive to work this morning, I was thinking about the weekend, and it finally hit me: holy fuck, Lou Reed is playing in my city this weekend!!!!

-local show featuring the radical rockers the mad cows.
-i'm listening to the refused : shape of punk to come in my office.
-everyone in my office is on the edge of quitting because this place sucks.
-i'm wearing my favorite underwear
-dance party saturday and i'm supplying both the dancing and the music.

Well, except for the paint incident, I've uncorked a serious creative blockage I've had in my brain. Good thing, since now I'm finishing on the job I told them on Friday they would have Monday morning. I work better under pressure anyway. It sucks to go through that crunch, but this should be a really nice piece, which is what they need.

And, my roomate and I managed to hang a storm door this afternoon with few setbacks, which was good.

So I'll give this weekend two snaps up.

Friday night was spent eating chinese food and watching Scooby Doo-Monsters Unleashed with my son and Josh. Quite laid back.

Saturday was another day of running around and then going to Ampersand's wedding. Which was beautiful. We weren't there too long because it was a later night wedding and we were exhausted so we stayed for dinner and hung out a short while and then were home in time to watch SNL and then I crashed before 11:30

Today was do nothing day til guilt took over then we spent the day cleaning, reorganizing and furniture moving. And grocery shopping.

Now I get to have tomorrow off since I get back to work last friday and discover the spa is now closed on mondays starting tomorrow so I now have 3 day weekends. woo hoo!!

So it's wine drinking time at the moment and tv. Time to veg for the newlyweds. We're just happy it's over and we can go back to normal which was pre-engagement but with commitment. haha

aye...wine has kicked in. :drink:
