during the workout scene where Randy is training to be more of a drunken lout of a little league dad? I know it was also used in the training sequence in Wet Hot American Summer, but can't remember for the life of me who sings it or wht it's called. The lyrics go something like:

You're the best!
forever!
nothing is ever gonna let you down
you're the best!

or something like that. It's been stuck in my head all fucking night and morning.

don't know the name, but it was featured huge in 'The Karate Kid'.

EDIT: "You're the Best" by Bill Conti/Allee Willis

thats everything that allmusic.com gave up, but it's on the KK soundtrack. The real version is slightly slower.

I agree. It didn't do much for me, especially after the previous episode, which was fantastic.

Actually, the song during the training scene in Wet Hot American Summer was Loverboy-Turn Me Loose

I hardly catch this show anymore, but the J-Lo episode a few years back was pure comedy genius. 'Taco-flavored Kisses' as performed by E. Cartman:

Baby, lets make a run for the border,
I got a hunger only tacos can stop!
I know exactly what I'll order:

3 tacos, 2 tostados and a soda pop!

Burrito taco taco! Burrito taco, taco taco!
Don't think that just because i gotta lot a money,
I'll give you taco-flavoured kisses, honey;
To fill all your wishes with my taco-flavoured kisses!
Taco taco, burrito burrito, taco taco!
To fill all your wishes with my taco-flavoured kisses!
Taco taco!

After we saw this as a rerun a few months back Josh used to start singing that song anytime anywhere. It used to drive me absolutely batty.

isn't that Tina Turner's "Simply the Best"? Or whatever that HBO theme song was for a bit.

Joe Esposito is the artist for the Karate Kid song. Is that the one you need? If so, just say so, because I got it. It's in my workout mix. One of the better songs of the 80's.

if you watch the whole email, at the end, after the paper scrolls down wait a few more seconds, then click on the '4 wheels' that's printed on the wagon.

Freedom isn't free
It costs folks like you and me
And if we don't all chip in
We'll never pay that bill
Freedom isn't free
Now there's a have to hook'in fee
And if you don't throw in your buck 'o five
Who will?

You don't throw in your buck 'o five. Who will?
Oooh buck 'o five
Freedom costs a buck 'o five
