So, I downloaded wolf parade's second ep last night, and am listening to it right now. Totally digging it. Who can tell me more about this band? Will they be releasing a full length soon?

i love that ep, made my top ten of last year. they're from montreal, friends with arcade fire ect... isaac brock loves them, had them open up for him, and then got them signed to sub pop. they're finishing up their debut, which will be out sometime this summer. i'm super excited for it, they have the potential to make a great record.

I've only heard one song, which I got from Pumachik...but I liked that song.

I saw them open for Modest Mouse in Montreal last year. They put on a very good show, I had never heard of them but was impressed enough to buy both EPs that were for sale at the show. I liked them live better than on disc; the discs are very thin sounding and did not capture their live sound well at all. Hopefully once their fist full-length is released the sound will be better. Apparently Isaac Brock is producing them.

The most impressive part of their live set was the lead singer/guitarist. A very intense passionate performer who has big things ahead of him, I think.

WOLF PARADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I absolutely love them. The album was set for release in July, but it won't be out until August. That's far too long of a wait.

Until then, the 2 EP's will have to do.

Cool, I'll look out for that release in August, and will pick up their first ep. In the meantime, I'll keep this one on repeat.

The first EP is the s/t one, the other is a 4 song demo. I can YSI whichever one you don't have.
