not my college friends, but the BAND

Dead Kennedys plus seriously funny schtick = novelty band. Their fan favorite is a song called "Coke Party." Looks like I just missed them during a Nashville stop.

they are from austin. their lead singer (also named trevor) is pretty smart about their stuff --- can be fun if you go in with an open mind. they don't break character and do things like "extreme hippy makeover" during their shows and stuff. . .

Their drummer (nice guy) has a band called The Rockland Eagles who played with my friend's band The Golden Falcons Friday night at The Double Wide in Dallas. Fun stuff. One of their (T.R.E.) guitarists wore an Elvis outfit and mainly shredded & finger-tapped his way through his solos, the other guitarist (Andy) wore a pit-crew coverall suit and looked like he might pass out at any moment. totally mongerous.
