okay, which album is owned my the most people on this board?

im no expert on peoples tastes, but i'll try to start a list of albums for people to pick from....i'll list 100 albums. albums that are mostly commercial releases that can be obtained with little or no hassle. i will also try to list albums that have been out for awhile.

if i screw up the list and there is a glaring omission lets get it on the list...(and for the record i know that 'the arcade fire' isnt on the list....i know alot of people have had problems finding this album....



i'll try to add them all up on say: friday morning for a friday afternoon winner

Those are the ones I have. Some of your choices are odd - why those Stooges albums, but no Fun House? Why only those Radiohead albums, when others are just as popular/high selling?

I bet other people would come up with a different 100 albums to start from. I second Sketch's idear to use the listmania results - but even that might not list all the mediocre albums that we all probably own - Jagged Little Pill, maybe?

sorry 'rain dogs' has been replaced with the verve's 'urban hymns'

the idea is to list albums you actually own in a purchased format....so d/l's would be okay if they are from itunes or any pay-to-download format....
