i remember petra hayden singing a sloooooowed version of floaty at a foo fighters concert when they toured for the s/t album, with that dog opening. from what I can remember it was pretty awesome.

Yes, it's pretty good overall, with some really beautiful moments. I hate Coldplay, but "Yellow" is stunningly beautiful here. I could seriously have done without "Moon River" and "When You Wish Upon A Star," but that's what the skip button is for. Most everything Frisell touches turns out pretty nice. My favorite guitarist of all time.

This album also makes a nice companion to the Frisell/Elvis Costello album Deep Dead Blue (which is better, but much shorter unfortunately.)

i'm a big fan of petra haden so of course i have this and enjoy it. for those of you looking to get into haden's solo work i'd definitely get this before venturing into her first album "Imaginaryland" and the Who cover album.
