I don't know whether I liked it or not. It was a little blah for a series premiere episode.

i watched it and pretty much felt the same way. i must say that blythe danner (one of my fave actresses) is pretty fabulous. while i like the bitchfest between her and the daughter-in-law it's almost too over the top. i think. gotta watch a few more episodes but was a little underwhelmed.

The mother - daughter in law relationship was the only intriguing part of the show. That, and the brother in the mental institution. I'd like to see more of him. Oliver Platt's character is okay especially since he has some sort of abnormal obsession with ugly women. I just think it's Hank Azaria. The man is boring. And the whole Hungarian homeless man was just silly.

I agree that the homeless Hungarian was ridiculous. But I actually liked the show for the most part. Curious to see more...
