facts:
we need a break, and going up to PDC is easy and cheap, so i can't tell why she is acting so out of bounds except that she is worried that it will be bad for the business. The music and scene is awesome and I (and she) ok, maybe me more than she, music-wise... love being there, and it will be only +/- 100 (US) a day..............

We often fight in playa...... seems that Italians rule playa and this is often leading to a drunken argument along the lines of, " You don't love me, why don't you show it like they do, look at them kissing and such, why don't you do that....

Maybe she associates PDC with bad feelings and emotions. Who wants to go on a holiday when you're anticipating a fight? How about going somewhere different instead? Someplace you've not been to? You can start fresh memories vs ressurect old bad ones.

Yeah, why go on a 'break' somewhere you and your partner get drunk, you feel insecure about the relationship, you fight, and then he sulks over his hangover every time you go? ugh.

One of my exes and I used to do this whenever we visited his folks, and after a while I was never as keen as he was, somehow. Go somewhere new.

The key phrase in bluejayway's post is "one of my exes." Your girl is probably asking you some valid questions (although she's probably phrasing them in unpalatable ways). For example, why don't you treat her like the Italian guys treat their women? She's probably not asking you to act like an Italian (whatever that might be); more likely she's wondering where the passion has gone in your relationship. Or something. The bottom line is that this has very little to do with PDC - there's a problem in your relationship that you're not addressing. You can both either ask the question and find the answer together, or start referring to her as "one of my exes."

alas, I am the one who likes more affection, although I would never want to be Italian, I do enjoy a bit of lovey-ness-ment more than the average guy. This is not to say that my wife is not affectionate, she is, I think maybe too much tequila is to blame, more often. Nuff said on the topic, I think.

I live on ambergris caye and run a restaurant here. Its a great place,very relaxed attitude about life ( when one goes out at night to dinner or party, most don't wear shoes, I never even carry any ID, since everyone knows everyone) but I do have to go to work each day.... well, most days 8) speaking of which...gotta roll, lunch is over.
