They took up an online collection, and it seems to have done them well. Everyone's gear is top-shelf brand, and the multi-instrumentalist guy has some nice toys, including a little metal xylophone, a hammer dulcimer, a nice Rickenbacker electric guitar, etc.
They also are getting most of their old gear back. (as mentioned earlier) they told me after the last show here that some meth labs had been raided back home and it led to a huge ring of labs going down, including a gear-stealing operation. Cops / feds found a 5,000 sq ft storage place full of stolen music gear, mostly from bands around the pacific NW from the last 5 years. So it was all being cleaned up and ID'd as of a week or two ago.
