USA Today is having a SAVE OUR SHOWS survey which I'm assuming will be submitted to networks once the results are in. You can vote for your favourite show by going here:

http://www.usatoday.com/life/television ... -shows.htm

And as a favour, please vote to KEEP "Joan of Arcadia" -- I love that show.

Done, although these sorts of things rarely have any impact at all.

One of these survey's got The Tick live action on DVD pretty darn quick.

Thank you, Borg! :)

"Joan of Arcadia" is a...shall I dare say it?...erm...family show that appears on Friday nights (CBS) at 8pm. While I originally swore against it due to its whole reference about God and such, I ended up enjoying the show more due to its casting. Plus, the actor who plays "Adam" (Joan's boyfriend) reminds me a lot of my nephew who is also named "Adam".

Voted for your show, thanks for the link. I think I've done about 5 "save Arrested Development" things. I'll do 500 more if I have to. The season finale was great.

"dad will be crushed."

Wow, I didn't expect to see another Joan of Arcadia fan on Obner . . . neato.

Now all the closet Joan fans are going to be coming out of the wood work . . . This show is, of course, totally up the alley of most Obnerites.

For the record, I voted to:

Keep:
The Office
Arrested Development
Joan Of Arcadia
Bernie Mac (and I've only seen it a couple times, but it seemed funny.)
Kevin Hill (haven't seen it, but it seems decent and gets good reviews.)

Drop:
Will & Grace (for the love of God, let this awful show go! Why are people still watching this?!)
Listen Up
Committed

Don't Care:
The rest.

Vote for Bernie, too.

Arrested Development is top priority. I voted against anything that seemed like it was a courtroom, crime investigation, or medical show.

I agree. In fact, I think the past few episodes have been some of the best of the entire show so far. I had been getting the feeling that Amber Tamblyn wasn't such a good actress earlier this season, as I felt some of her acting had gotten sloppy, but then I read something that she was bored with her character's issues lately and wanted/needed to be challeged, to the point that she was considering leaving the show. If the past few episodes haven't been a challenge, I can't imagine what would be for her. The breakup of her and Adam has been extremely well-done, never getting into any of the cliches you might expect, and Tamblyn's acting has been superb. Like a good student, she apparently needs challenges to keep moving forward or she loses interest. I just hope she keeps finding those challenges and continues to put out incredible performances like she has lately. (The scene of her cleaning out her closet and finding Adam's drawing of the prison door was astounding, by the way.)

I thought this thread was supposed to be for us Arrested Development fans!

Anyway, I voted to keep Joan of Arcadia even though I don't watch it. Also voted for The Office since a lot of people I know like it. I personally don't watch it though.

I voted against Will and Grace, I hope beyond hope it's off the air soon. Also voted against pretty much anything I haven't heard of and don't care to stuff I know a lot of people watch.

Sheesh, Andy, can't ya see tcj and I are having a bonding moment? :)

Btw, it's no secret that I've never watched "Arrested Development". One of these days, I'm gonna rent the vids and watch a season at a time. II still voted to keep it.)

Who is in that Committed show? Most of the shows listed I had never heard of. I guess I really don't watch that much TV.

I doubly thank you then. And I encourage you to pick up the season 1 DVD set as soon as you can. Season 2 won't be out for quite a while - likely next season, close to Christmas like last season's was.
