yes it's Mlle_XIX, I lost my password at home.

I love this Guided by Voices song. But does the Breeders cover kick ass or what? I can't believe I had a 7" of this in high school and lost it!

Fuck yeah on both counts.

It is a great song from GBV. And the Breeders SLAY GBV's version.

Breeders do amazing covers. The only Breeders cover I dont like more than the original is "Happiness is a Warm Gun," and I'm even out of step with many other Breeders fans on that one.

...you actually had Head to Toe on vinyl?? {sighhhhhh} wow. that is a shame you lost it...but at least you even had it at one time (I've never even seen a physical copy). better to have had then to have never had...or something...

why, is it valuable? It's probably in a storage space on long island somewhere, along with a ton of other great rare records. There was a kick ass record store near my house growing up.

I listened to it yesterday (on The Grand Hour EP) and it's a good song and all. But I don't understand how so many people call it GBV's "best".
Better than
"Game Of Pricks"
"Echoes Myron"
"Glad Girls"
"Motor Away"
"Dodging Invisible Rays"
even
"A Good Flying Bird"
?

I can't see it.
Still, a good – even great – song.
But definately not their best.
