Have you seen his live show? I'm contemplating seeing him on Tuesday night. Does he put on a good show?

Yeah, he's very good. I've seen him in a relatively big room (opening for MMJ) and he had enough energy to make up for the fact that it was mostly just him and a guitar and fill the space, and I've seen him in a tiny room where he put on a really low-key, intimate show with as much ease. Well worth it.

I just saw M Ward this weekend in Omaha with Devotchka and Norfolk&Western. It was awesome. I have seen M Ward twice before hand without any backing band, but this time Norfolk & Western backed him up, since Rachel Blumberg drummed on his album.
Conor Oberst made an appearance on stage to perform a song with him, so only Jim James was missing that night.
I paid like $12 total to get in, and I think it was well worth it. All the bands brought the goods and M Ward genuinely appreciates the audience.
