I feel ya. I got a quick trim on friday, and she got it off my ears, but left some mulletude in the back. this will have to be remedied soon.

Today:
Go to Panera for breakfast and coffee, send out email, etc.
Check PO Box for $$
Process checks
Hit folks with faxes who still haven't made good on their commitments
Do some call time
Take in some dry cleaning
Go home, hopefully hit happy hour with my neighbor (an actual Senator and monger non-pareil)
Hang up some clothes
drunk dial people

They have Panera in South Alabama? Really? Oh, how elitist-blue-state-unamerican. Get Dick Shelby on the case, STAT.

Remember Jocko, Shelby was a democrat...and is still the Trial lawyer's #1 Repuglican...

funny you mention Kennedy and Dodd because I have made that comparison between me and a friend before.

Long day in the lab:

- prep reactions for DNA sequencing at 7PM

- extract DNA from 4 more individuals for S. American frog phylogeography study

- photo and measure 2 individuals of salamander species that may need to be listed as federally endangered.

- kill said cute little guys, harvest their livers, and make museum specimens out of their bodies for future research.

go home later than usual:

- eat

- play some bass, and some guitar, and some drums

- prep application for endangered species management contract/temp labor

- visit here to see how my brethren, the Obnish, are doing.

- Daily Show either at 10 or midnight.

- pitch yeast into raspberry wine must that I prepared last night.

- drink a beer and call it a night.

Panera is from Missouri, which gave us John Ashcroft.

i think it's overrated. well, not overrated, but i dunno, that there's no reason to make it since it's still a great movie, but not a great book. only if a person who hadn't read the books saw the movie and then was inspired to pick up the books, they'd be disappointed in the books.
don't get me wrong, it was the best possible interpretation, but that might be what i thought was wrong with it.
