I really want the Eels album but I only have enough money to buy Ben Folds' new album, Bruce Springsteen's new album, the 3 Jethro Tull remasters and Guerrila by Super Furry Animals and I do not want to give any of those up. Poor me.

I keep hoping it will grow on me, but the Eels album's been pretty boring the first few times I've listened to it.

My record store got nearly all the April 26 releases in this past Friday so I picked it up then. The problem with iBlinking Lights... is that I kept waiting for it to pick up but it's kind of slow throughout. Besides the single, nothing really stood out and grabbed me.

The Cure reissues look really nice. Each one has your typical second disc filled with demos, live stuff, and a few soundtrack tracks. But the packaging itself looks really nice and the booklets appear to be pretty complete. I didn't have a chance to read them through entirely but the photos are classic.

Tomorrow = Springsteen, Mountain Goats, and possibly Eels...Dodger game takes priority over the last one (for now) though...

Because record clerks are so much more effecient in this country I got to spend my CD budget yesterday. And by the way, you seriously need to do something about that. Tuesday?! What the fuck is all that about? I certainly wouldn't tolerate it.

Anyway getting back to the point I bought (as I'd threated to do) the following...

Jose Gonzalez - Veneer
The Go-Betweens - Oceans Apart

I'm about to go listen to them right......NOW!

So Ryan Adams and Ben Folds have new ones coming out today as well? I was planning on picking up Eels but can I really buy all three?

[edit]: Ryan Adams does not come out today so I'm ok.
