I've seen snow in May in Cleveland. You might have already jinxed yourself.

Sketch, i've been to Colorado six times this year, this last time was late march - early april. It's been fucking mild every single time. How IS that? Like at least a few days of t-shirt weather on every trip. Even when we went in late Jan - early Feb.

Every time i've been to CO, it's been warmer than IL.

Mountains and high altitudes do some strange things to weather patterns, man. You just missed the huge snowstorm last weekend (maybe it was the week before). Four years of living there always says the biggest snowstorm usually happens between February 28 and May 1, and e-stone can back me up on this.

But, yeah, 60 degrees in January is not exactly rare either. Blizzards can shut the city down one day and melt off within the next week. It catches you off-guard if you're used to something more consistent.

41 yrs ago April 24th, the day my brother was born, here in Chicago there was several feet of snow on the ground as my dad took my mother to the hospital to have my brother.

So nah, this is not that unusual this time of year. Spring is screwy at times.

It's once you get into mid May that you know you're finally safe. Til then, anything goes.

I personally want the warmth back. This cold crap sucks. Plus because of the constant fluctuations in temp the last week I felt like I was coming down with something last two days. bleh.

Not snow, but here in NC the weather won't make up its darned mind. 80s and sunny all last week, mid 50's and windy this week. That's cold in NC, mind you.

Its been in the 40s at night, and I'm in south ass alabama. I ain't complaining because next week I am sure we will start the 88-92 rains-every afternoon uber muggy weather, that will last until December.

Conversation about the weather is the last refuge of the
unimaginative.

I fucking love weather like this. The more unpredictable the better. It does bother me, however that spring and fall are no longer their own seasons but more winter and summer battling it out for your discomfort.

Heh, I don't count on warm/sunny weather consistently until after July 4. I can't tell you how many times I've gone to fireworks displays here and worn polartec and jeans. But July-October in Portland is just amazing.

I miss October in Atlanta too... perfect time of year.

sketch speaks the truth. i'd say 90% of the time, the day after a snowstorm here it is sunny and warm, snow is melted off of streets and sidewalks...and entirely melted a couple days later.

i did just hear an interesting fact that denver has taken over san diego as the "sunniest" city in the country...meaning the most sunny days per year.

My mom has told me the story 452 times of when it snowed in Ohio on the last day of school in May when she was a kid.
