And neither does the good Senator, I believe.

Several spots on that disc make him cock his head to the side, like this:

...and cross the room to get away from it. Especially the jagged, jittery guitar solo in kidsmoke and then the spacey part towards the end that goes on too long. What does this mean?

That's Gordo. He came from the humane society. He's the one that howls in his sleep.

it means he and i have similar tastes in music, only when I heat that album i scoot my butt along carpet and eat grass to throw up.

those eyes are wicked cool.

i don't like Ghost is Born either.
There are only a couple of songs on there that I like. I was told it was more pop so I picked it up, but it is more mellow, low key, and mundane to me.

It *might* well be their least poppy album to date, in my opinion.

It also means that all those music critics out there could easily be laid off and replaced with dogs who will work for milkbones and belly scratches. I mean, no one ever agrees with their opinions anyway, so may as well replace them with adorable puppies you can't stay mad at!

There's no shame in working at McDonalds in the meantime.

I know. I know. That was your bi-weekly kick in the ass from your older brother.

When you're a freelancer, you pretty much end up "working" for free anyway.

A box of Cheez-Itz every now and again would've been lovely.

My lab does this too. We'll wake up and look at her, and she's got her head up in the air, howling away, oblivious until we shout at her to stop. Weird.

If it was, then your statement would be even more true (which, paradoxically, would make your statement false).

Shouts alone do not stop him. Physical contact is neccessary. Usually I nudge him or his crate, but if I'm reeeal tired, I throw a stick of chapstick at his crate, which wakes him up. Cue the wife: "ooooh, don't do that, ... poor thing" yet she is never the one to actually get up and stop him. Funny how that works.

If your statement was correct about mine being the "most" correct, then yours would at least equal mine in "correctness," negating your original statement.

Smart dog..I actually don't hate AGIB, or YHF, just don't understand what is so "Revolutionary" about them.

Look we added some weird noises and abstract bs poetry to our already pretty cool americana sound!! We are geniuses!! My Head hurts!! I am tortured!!

That's the type of dog I could be cool with, especially if he was super chill. Hyper dogs = almost annoying as kids. Big, Hyper dogs = Stay yo ass away from me.

Your dislike of YHF is the only time I can remember you being too cool for school on a rock record: It's frankly inexplicable.

AGIB is mediocre at best; after a cocktail of household cleaners and a few whiffs of dust remover, passable. ("Hummingbird" and "Theologians" are excellent).

It's just like every other Wilco record for me... I do the same thing every time.

Phase 1: Buy record, listen 1 time, say aloud "what the..." and shelf it for a few weeks.

Phase 2: Pull record back out with sense of guilt, listen again 2 or 3 more times, scratch head, shelf again.

Phase 3: Drink 5 beers, put record back on, do something else while it's playing in background, repeat.

Phase 4: Admit that parts of record are growing on me, listen more often, repeat.

Phase 5: Defend record to critics.
