I was once hooked on a putting game at a different job. I'd come home and keep playing. It was bad.

I do have alot of freedom here...

Im basically on the phone 7 of the 8 hours conducting business, which free's me up to do whatever online, when im not answering emails.

Hah....in the last year, we have downsized by over 50%..somehow, i fell into a position thats not easily replaceable, so I have some security.

That happened where I worked too. But here's the catch: they only fired the ones they absolutely had to - they still wanted headcount lower. I watched 4 people around me quit in the months after the "restructuring event," and not 1 was replaced. Their responsibilities were absorbed by others, without pay increases, usually. And when I got accused of something bad, they put about 4 seconds of thought into it, said "oh hell, this is a chance to drop one more" and fired away, even though the offending thread had been pulled and they couldn't even see it for themselves.
