Though they've only had two albums I completely adore the artwork for the Be Good Tanyas' releases:

and, of course, Belle And Sebastian are up there:

In fact, I had the tigermilk artwork as my desktop wallpaper for weeks when I got my new computer.

Wow. Please don't take this the wrong way... but I find that so interesting and nice to hear because a couple of us at work the other day (record store) were just saying of the Be Good Tanyas: "it's a shame about their album covers".

Guess--like withmost things--it's all a matter of taste.

I like BDB's singles as well...not so much the two newest albums, but Hour of Bewilderbeast, and About a Boy were ok

I just like how their first album's cover almost looks like a picture from a child's picture book or something. And the Chinatown cover seems to really fit their music in my mind. There's not a lot to it but it's pretty, none-the-less.
