The opening bit was classic. The rest was somewhat blah.....American Dad was pretty good this week though.

Disagree on the blah. This was a top-shelf episode! Glad to have Stewie and Co. back!!!

i agree with those that say that it started really strong but then petered out.

It was okay. The novelized Caddyshack was amusing, and Lois Griffin is the hottest cartoon wife since Betty Rubble.

I still think "American Dad" sucks ass.

it was a lot better than i had expected. i figured they'd have tamed it down to some degree. i'll just have to come to terms with a parental advisory warning before every episode.

i liked it. i'm sure it'll take some time for them to get back on track, but this episode was pretty funny. the g.i. joe reset in the bathroom was hilarious.

Stewie and Brian bit was way droll and a good departure for that gang. Loved it.

Family Guy is like the most overrated comedy ever. I'll hate everything if it makes Arrested Development become canceled.

I think Arrested Development has been cancelled already, but this is good news because it will free up room for more top-shelf reality shows and sitcoms with cute babies and blaring laugh tracks.

I recorded Family Guy but haven't seen it yet. American Dad gets a 6/10 from me.

Same here. I'll admit, I've never been a faithful follower of Family Guy but I thought last night's was pretty much a copy of the South Park 'Passion of the Jew' episode. I laughed a couple of times but thought overall it was really weak. Didn't watch American Dad. It was absolutely awful the first time I saw it and I'm not willing to give it another chance.

I've never seen Family Guy. An publicity pics or stills I've seen have been so horribly drawn I couldn't possibly watch it.

Not hip to the Family Guy. And I was unaware AD was cancelled. I've never watched the show religiously, but the episodes I have caught were pretty damned good - probably Top 3 material on the idiot box.

AD is NOT canceled yet. Just heard that this morning. Family Guy is an average show at best. I watched until the first commercial, started flipping and forgot to come back. Gripping.

I did enjoy the replay of the first two episodes of Entourage on HBO; that's a show I really don't get tired of watching.....
