how many lurkers Obner has on a regular basis? For instance, right now, there are 14 of 'em reading our posts. Are they too shy to join? Have nothing to say? Have better lives than I?

I browse at work, and have had the darndest time getting my computer to show i've logged on, even after I've signed in and posted a few times, so, at work, I'm usually perpetually browsing, unable to truly totally join the festivities.

"I Wonder" - cool Adrian Belew song.

LYRICS:
I wonder wonder wonder
wonder what went wrong
we used to used to used to
used to feel so strong
now we seem to come apart at the seam
now we speak impolitely
now it's a fight to be nice
and you know it ain't right
I remember member member
member what we had
we used to used to used to
used to love so madly
now we speak impolitely
now we struggle even nightly
now it's a fight to be nice
and you know it ain't right
Who is reversible
who is replaceable
who is reciprocal
who is responsible
you and me

With lots of weird, difficult (but non-wanky) guitar stuff.

"I Wonder" by Blind Melon

All alone the broadening skies
Under the every night I will lie
Scratching claw and grip the rails
Every day my living hell
Oh God you know I’ve tried
I know how hard I tried
And oh I tried......

Hey I’d like to daze away to a
Place like no one has known
In a state of mind I could call mine
That only I could own
Where I could hum a tune anytime
I choose, and then there is no such thing as time
Where I can feel no pain just calm and sane
What a place for one to find
Now you see I’m watching everything
I do and they’re watching everything I say
Why wont they leave me be?
Why am I even here? I wonder
You leave me wondering
Won’t you stop watching me
I said they’re watching me, watching me, watching me
Now in my corner I got the ceiling in my eyes
Arms holding up my knees
And rocking back and forth my life
I didn’t mean to feel this way
When I walked into the door, lord
Then they ripped away my memories
And I cant remember who I was before.
And I only wanted to be 16 and free.
......and I wonder.

Nah...you guys all have better lives than I do. Well, more interesting, anyway.

I really do want to participate more. It's just kinda tough to do so at work, and the nights are taken up by the kids. I appreciate the hell out of this board, though. Got to San Fran last week & picked up a ton of stuff at Amoeba that I never would have known about without this board.

I've actually been there twice before, which is why I told my co-workers I "didn't feel real well" that night. The thought of being in SF and not spending a few hours there was just too painful.

I Wonder Why The Wonderfalls
(Andy Partridge)

We're bobbing along in our barrel
Some of us tip right over the edge
But there's one thing really mystifying
Got me laughing, now it's got me crying
All my life I will be death defying
'Til I know

I wonder wonder why the wonderfalls
I wonder why the wonderfalls on me
I wonder wonder why the wonderfalls
With everything I touch and hear and see

We teeter along on our tightrope
Some of us trip and damage our heads
Popping pills is really stupefying
Gets you crawling when you could be flying
All my life I guess that I'll be dying
Just to know

I wonder wonder why the wonderfalls
I wonder why the wonderfalls on me
I wonder wonder why the wonderfalls
With everything I touch and hear and see

Don't you ever think about this life
And how strange it all can seem?
Only way to find the answers out
Is to wake up from its golden dream

But there's one thing really mystifying
It's got me laughing, now it's got me crying (ha-ha-ha-ha)
All my life I will be death defying
'Til I know, 'til I know, 'til I know (really really need to know!)

I wonder wonder why the wonderfalls
I wonder why the wonderfalls on me
I wonder wonder why the wonderfalls
With everything I touch and hear and see

I wonder wonder why the wonderfalls (I wonder why it falls)
I wonder why the wonderfalls on me (I wonder why it falls, I wonder why it falls, it falls on me)
I wonder wonder why the wonderfalls
With everything I touch and hear and see

See, I told you I was right about the wonder-wonder-wonder-wonder
Wonderful-ahh the wonderfalls
I've got to find out from where the wonderfalls
