hmmm... can't vote, since I've never seen Caribou or Junior Boys, but I can tell you that I saw Prefuse 73 and Battles last Friday night at the 40 Watt, and it was awesome. I had never seen Battles, and was pretty impressed. Especially since the drummer had one of his cymbals set as high as it would go... it was entertaining watching him hit this 6 ft. tall cymbal. And Prefuse was tons of fun. He made me dance, and it takes a lot to do that!

I've only seen Caribou (as Manitoba), but I really wasn't overly impressed. It was fun, but it wasn't at all what I expected. Not melodic or psychedelic at all, just loud and noisy and very drum-heavy.

I've always heard mixed things about Scott Herren shows (as Prefuse, Savath, etc.), but generally I think people have been disappointed.

But on the bright side, you're getting to see Battles, and if that's the Battles I think it is (Ian Williams of Don Cab) then it should be really cool.

I voted Prefuse 73/Battles/Beans, but really only because of Battles.

I missed Battles and I don't think Beans even showed up.

Prefuse 73 was decent. Too many "Yo Yo Yo" white boys in the room though.
Their drummer was the best thing about them, I wish I knew who he was.

dude that fucking sucks. sucks to have missed Battles, and Beans isnt bad either--at least when I saw him a year ago. sucks he wasnt there.
