I stopped by Ye Old Rekkid Sto' and picked up a few things, namely:

Okkervil River :: Black Sheep Boy
Q and not U :: No Kill, No Beep Beep
Q and not U :: Different Damage

and one little bugger hiding out in the used bin. The Music of Mark Sandman has two audio discs and a dvd and the whole shebang was only $9. Anyone know anything about this? Seems like a pretty damn good deal, even if it ain't mindblowing.

That's a steal. I've seen precisely one used copy locally and that was for $18.99. New it's almost $30.

So how is it? I've never heard Treat Her Right before, but I imagine if it's anything like Morphine it must be pretty good. Are these all demos and live tracks? Good sound quality, if so?

So is Cobain with bangs. Sad thing is, they're both dead.

I'm officially calling down the scythe for Naomi Judd. :wink:

I'm gonna put it in after I take some pictures in the basement.

I realized after peeling off this big orange piece of tape it says 'SANDBOX' across the top, which I've read about though never heard.

Treat Her Right is nothing like Morphine, but it's still pretty good. More along the lines of roots revivalists like the Blasters, the Palladins, and Fabulous Thunderbirds (etcetera) - although a tad more moody than any of those.

I'm only on track four and I really like what I hear so far. Score!
