"Now I'm gonna play bagpipes with ONE HAND and NO MOUTH!"
...followed by bagpipe-voiced keyboard part

"Pay attention, because this song is better than you are!"
(Intro to a song at live gig I attended with robotboy)

The first time I saw them was at the Empty Bottle, opening for Falstaff at their debut show. (Falstaff was Ian Schneller's band, formerly of Shrimp Boat.)

In a night that absoloutely KILLED, both bands blew me away.
I've been a fan ever since.

Here's a question for you MOTO fans, that may enlighten the virgins out there:
Favorite MOTO song TITLE?
•"So Big It's Fluorescent"
is probably mine.

i'm sorry sir, but m.o.t.o. holds this title.

we've played a few shows with them back in the day and those were some of the most fun nights we've had.

the cd is coming, chris.

Never heard anything from them. I need to get over my hate for ordering cd's off the internet b/c I'll never find this here.

Todd do you have the Spiral Slouch 7" ? I don't know if the songs represented on it on on the Single File album (which I don't have) but it's a cool ep. it's a quick reminder that the band is not one-dimensional.

No.
In fact, I don;t even have Single File (it's on the "List").
But I know that they're not one-dimensional. I've heard a lot.

And an aside that robotboy can confirm: Paul is a helluva nice guy and funny as hell. Hanging out with him is a good time and you should give him your money.
