The only times I've been to strip clubs have been for bachelor parties. A good time when you're with your friends, but after awhile the girls actually become annoying, constantly draping their arms around you and asking if you'd like a private dance.

Also, as a married guy who intends to be faithful it just serves to work me up unnecessarily.

Don't know about becoming desensitized.

I don't find myself going to strip clubs "just to go do something" because A) it's an expensive evening and B) it's not that fun if you don't go with a group of folks.

If on the rare occasion I go for some clandestine evening for a bachelor party or a friend's birthday it can be fun with a group of people even with other girls.


As far as boobs go they equal power IMO and I like em.

Never been to a strip club. Went to them there fancy "exotic" clubs a time or two when I was younger though. I hanker for the class, I tell you what.

That's what I try to get across to my girlfriend...Going with a bunch of people for a bachelor party is a hell of a lot of fun...Everyone just hanging out and having a good time...But she's not trying to hear it..She hates the whole idea of those places..Other than a specific reason like that, I don't really see a purpose to go..Especially if you have a wife or girlfriend...

I don't understand why some girls have a problem with strip clubs. Guys like to look at naked women. That's just the way it is. Doesn't mean they're gonna cheat. Just means they enjoy boobies.

Hell, the cool chicks'll go with you. I don't really like them all that much, but like Benjy said, they can be awesome. Last time I went we were there for a friend's bachelor party. Probably 30 dudes, all with major coin to drop, looking to get into a little sanctioned "trouble."

Strip clubs are kinda like having a bear dance with a ring through it's nose only with women in place of the bear and dollar notes in place of the ring. Just really horrible and degrading to everyone involved.

Plus who's getting that excited over a pair of tits? You open up the newspaper and there's a pair of page three. It's not like it's a really exotic, one in a lifetime thing your going to see.

The local strip club is free to get in at lunch, has decent food, and the dancers only expect a $1 for a quick dance. So every couple months or so, a few of us at work head down there. It's a fun and inexpensive diversion. There is some desensitization to it, but I still like to look at the lovely ladies.

I like strip clubs because they're open later than most of the bars around here...5 or 6 am instead of 3, and they have those big cushiony chairs. And, if you really wanna touch, just find a nice seedy one and pull out a few bucks...money talks in them kinda places.

I have to be drunk before I go in to have fun in a strip club. Even then, it's more about being stupid than sex. I've might have been 4 times in my life.

Back in my early 20's I was in New Orleans with a boyfriend(dickhead of the universe) and we went to a few burlesque and one strip club while there. The burlesque clubs were the coolest, I felt like I was transported right back to the 20's and 30's.

I could care less if a guy goes to one. Frankly it's just a show. I have no problem with them as a whole. If Josh went to one hell I'd probably ask to go with. But otherwise it's mostly about security and trust, the less a lot of women know about what really goes on there, the more upset and anxious they are about the guy going there.

It was actually commonplace for women to be dressed to the nines and go to these clubs with their husbands way back when.

And I too don't get the "boobs are power" comment. If mine had power I'd be making more money and curing cancer.
