not to start the 3,042 Springsteen thread this month, but I just stumbled across this and can't help but really want to check it out. I always thought he was capable of creating such interesting characters that there could be a sort of mythology established, and this song provides plenty to work with.

that said, 20 stories? i'm sure there's plenty of overlap.

I think Springsteen is useful as a sleep aid but that's about it.


Everytime he puts out one of his new albums and I hear part of it I can't help but to think how boring it is.
