Unleashed is a dumb name.

And the Danny The Dog soundtrack has already gotten dozens of airings at my place.

Don't think so movie-wise, though the Unleashed soundtrack is supposed to have some hiphop on it.

The MA soundtrack made my top 10 of '04. I doubt that movie will make it on anyone's Best Of lists at the end of the calendar year.

Yeah but I want to see Bob Hoskins tearing up the scenery in a Hong Kong movie. That'll be fun, even if the movie turns out to be a hokey mix of martial arts and child abuse trauma.

just for the fun of it i'm bumping this one. i saw Unleashed this weekend on dvd. i think it's one of Jet Li's best non-HK films. Li takes on a different fighting style this time around. interesting story. cast is great. sentences no longer complete. stopping now. bye.

bort.

I dunno why they changed the name and it was a decent movie but my favorite Jet Li film is still Fist Of Legend.

He said non-HK, I think that qualifies as from his HK era (anything before...what, Replacement Killers?).

I think it was called Danny the Dog when it was first released in France, but for here some movie executive decided to give it a ghey name instead.

Replacement Killers stars Chow Yun-Fat.

But yeah I guess this is his best post-HK movie. The One was decent too.
