My wife wanted this for Mother's Day, so who were my kids to deny her? It was their gift to their mommy, and we watched most of it last night.
My assessment:
•Amazing music
•Interesting to see the guy, more or less candidly
•Always interesting to hear him voice his opinions and viewpoints (esp. on the song "Just An American Boy" about the John Walker Lindh - 'The American Taliban') and the death penalty)
•AWFUL, intrusive direction... lots of special effects and weird angles just for their own sake.
Still, if yer a fan, check it out!
Other opinions?

I've recently noticed that all the unfortunate events in the lives of blues singers all seem to rhyme... I think all these tragedies could be avoided with a good rhyming dictionary.
