It's like photos from an off-broadway production of M. Night Shyamalan's The Village.

Also, given that the dude from the Oranges Band was actually in Spoon for a while it seems lame for Britt to write a song called My Mathematical Mind after the Oranges did My Mechanical Mind.

Otherwise, I am pleased.

I'm a big fan of the album art. The poster (of basically the album cover and the song titles) that came with my pre-order wouldn't look out of place hanging on a wall in my apartment next to a "real" piece of art.

Speaking of which, does anyone else have framed album covers hanging on their walls?

I have these framed and hanging above my cd racks:

I have some nice concert prints hanging on my walls - Soft Boys, Mission of Burma, Yo La Tengo, Fugazi, Coctails, and others.

I loves me some well designed concert prints. I have the following - Hum 1997 New Year's Poster, Shellac and Dianogah (bonus from thebirdmachine when I ordered the Hum poster), Godspeed you black emperor!, Spoon, and Wilco.

You're jumping the gun. Backlash doesn't start for another 5 minutes.

I was totally thinking the lady on the cover was Middle EAstern or something where they have to be covered. (excuse the ignorance)

It's Little Red Riding Hood though, I think.

We had one of these within the last two weeks.

I pick up all kinds of shit in thrift stores, but generally I hang them with the clear plastic mirror framing clips that you screw into the wall. They are dirt cheap, and if I get bored, I can just slide one out and another in its place.

I have them going diagonally up my stairwell, but I need some more just for variety.

As for gigposters, I have a Frank Black with a skeleton and sombrero, a Superchunk by Kozik, Supersuckers by Almera and a gigantic Who subway poster mounted on foamboard and hung with the same mirror clips that consumes 90% of this awkward little wall.
