Do you think the ownership / management of the Flintstone's Vitamins company has constant battles with their marketing and PR people over their image? I mean, these are kid's vitamins. And the Flintstones aren't exactly at the forefront of infant entertainment, if you know what I mean. Most kids probably don't even know who they are.... you would think the marketing team would be pushing for a new cartoon.... And maybe the same company makes a line of chewable vitamins in the likeness of a newer cartoon. So why not do away with the antiquated Flintstone's? They must be counting on the Parent's recognition and trust of the brand?

did I just answer my own question?

I was always more bothered by the "Ten million strong...& growing" line in the ads. Sounds like they're ganging up to do something bad. Real bad.

Spongebob seems like a natural successor.

But then neo-cons would boycott and claim giving them to kids will give them teh ghey.
Especially the pink and purple ones.

I think Flintstones vitamins are viable without the cartoon. They have become their own franchise.

This sounds like it belongs in Todd's Zen thread.
