Woohoo!! My feet are numb from dancing! The Junior Boys are the 21st century's version of OMD -- cool synths, bangin' drums and heavy bass. I had a blast tonight! The crowd wouldn't leave after the encore -- kept cheering for the band to return even though the overhead music and lights were on. I've rarely ever seen that happen. Sadly, a second encore wasn't provided but Matisyahu's doppelganger ran out and thanked everyone with high fives and handshakes.

San Francisco and Northwest Territories are next -- get your tickets and check 'em out if you can!

I only have a few misc. mp3s. Are their albums solid? Aural's little write-up interests me since they're in town in about a week.

First time I ever saw them, our very own Miss Poet was with me. I had fun, as did she, I think. As far as "worthiness" is concerned, they don't have a ton of stage presence, but the music still translates well live. And yes, I danced my butt off too.

I bought tickets a few weeks ago to see them for a second time come May. If you got nothing happening, then yes, it's worth the $10-$15.

i dunno i cant imagine them going well live

to me they make solitary, blue music - even at their danciest moments ('In The Morning') they still have those undercurrents

Yeah I think I'm gonna skip them tonight and rest up for the Sox/Mariners game and Klaxons & Bonde Do Role tomorrow night.

bonde do role were okay. i liked them better when i saw them at sxsw, plus i was drunker then.

klaxons were pretty awesome, but the show was marred by the oh so fucking annoying crowd. simon, the guitarist, looked like he was totally trashed but sounded good otherwise.

annoying things: one of the local radio stations decided to hand out glowsticks. *grrr*

people dancing/moshing into everyone around them but freaking out when they got pushed back. fuck you, get in a real mosh pit.

i'd definitely recommend them.
