This point cannot be reiterated enough. They got swept by the A-town for the infinitieth time since 1991. 5 K's in 2 games for Piazza. Next up, the weak as Phillies.

They will be hard to watch this year if only because they will show flashes of brilliance for spurts only to then go 2-8.

Yeah...Piazza hasn't done shite for me in the fantasy league in a couple of weeks...And Pedro...Where has that dude been...But yeah the Phils are up next, and Piazza always kills them...I hope they sweep the Phils...

now living in chicago, my mets coverage hasn't been as much as usual, but i'm still keeping up with them pretty well. of course, i'm really disappointed in willie randolph. (i'll blame it on the subway ads.) and the guys on my fantasy team haven't done great yet, but i'm always optimistic when it comes to my team.

No, but I was in NY last week and saw game one of the Subway Series. Girl who I didn't know suddenly put her arms around me when they started doing that "kiss cam" shit and they freakin' put us up on the big screen! Crowd booed when I wouldn't kiss her.

I'm so pussy whipped that I called my wife right then and there from my seat because with my luck somehow it'd get shown here in Atlanta.

He has some of the qualities of a great leadoff man, but is too free a swinger. He needs to be a bit more disciplined without curtailing the fact that when he's on he's a damn exciting player to watch.

I'm rooting for a Braves sweep this weekend, as are most Phillies fans. I want Wade fired now! A record of 22-29 after this weekend should do it...hopefully.
